The staff, governors, pupils and parents of Goxhill and East Halton Schools’ Federation have collaborated to produce our school vision. We have agreed that, together, we will strive to form a jigsaw that enables our children to ‘Learn, Care and Succeed’:
We strive to ensure that our children are motivated to learn, to be empowered, to collaborate and to be inquisitive - asking questions and taking risks. We strive to provide enjoyment to promote a love of learning. We teach our learners to be polite, respectful and tolerant to others, and to take pride in their school and make a positive impact in their community.
We work hard to provide an ethos where morals are embedded throughout a nurturing environment resulting in our learners feeling safe. We want our children to feel informed about the diverse world around us and encourage the development of friendships to develop empathy for others. We strive for our children to build self-esteem enabling them to be happy and to achieve and to show mutual respect for one another. We try to empower our children to be confident learners, and to have confidence in their own abilities and be aspirational learners.
We encourage our children to ‘dream big dreams’. We motivate our learners to have high expectations of their own achievements, and teach them perseverance to reach their goals. We promote a level of independence that empowers the children to take the necessary skills to secondary school and beyond their education. We try to inspire our learners to achieve their true potential through being challenged, showing persistence and welcoming any opportunity that comes their way.
Building this jigsaw will lead to brighter futures.
